How to report

Export or delete data

Exporting your account information and deleting your account are both in the app's settings.

Reporting a bug: please include these four things

Ahaya's behaviour depends heavily on your data, so “I tapped it and nothing happened” isn't something we can reproduce. Please tell us:

  • Which app and which version: Mac or iPhone; the version number is at the bottom of the settings screen.
  • What you did: which screen you started on, what you tapped, and what you expected to see.
  • Roughly when: to the minute if you can — that lets us match it to server logs.
  • Which record was involved: its title or timestamp. If the content is sensitive, the timestamp alone is enough; we can investigate without reading the body.

For a crash on iOS, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data, find the log starting with “Ahaya”, and send it along.

System requirements

  • macOS: Apple silicon or Intel Mac, macOS 14 or later recommended. The app updates itself — you get a one-click prompt when a new build ships.
  • iPhone: iOS 17 or later recommended. Supports the Share Extension, Siri and Shortcuts, and a home screen widget.
  • Network: an internet connection is required. Capture on iPhone has an offline queue, so anything you record underground uploads once you're back online.

Exporting and deleting data

Exporting account information

On iPhone: Settings → Account lifecycle → Export account information. On Mac it's part of the delete-account steps: choose Delete account in Settings and, at the export step, choose Export account information; closing that sheet afterwards cancels, and your account isn't deleted.

The export covers your sign-in methods, the spaces you belong to and your personal space. Record content isn't included.

Deleting a single record

Deleted records go to the recycle bin and can be restored. Purging from the bin is permanent, and that step asks for explicit confirmation.

Deleting your account

You can do it yourself in the app: on iPhone, Settings → Account lifecycle → Delete account; on Mac, Delete account in Settings. The app first checks whether anything needs your attention, then asks you to confirm. See Privacy Policy section 9.

If that doesn't work for you, email [email protected].

Frequently asked

Will my records be used to train AI?

No. To understand your records, Ahaya sends them to Google Gemini (a service we pay for) to transcribe, organise and answer questions. Under Google's current terms, this content isn't used to train its general models.

Beyond that, we don't use your records for any other training or analysis. Full detail in Privacy Policy section 4.

Can a space administrator see my private records?

No. A private record is visible only to its author — administrators included.

And capture never publishes: a new record never becomes visible to others because of some default. Visibility is something you set explicitly, at capture time or afterwards.

How much can someone see through a share link?

Only the single record you explicitly shared — not your space, not other records, and no profiles. They don't need an account, and you can revoke the link at any time, effective immediately.

Your card works the same way: the card URL carries only the fields you chose to put on it. When someone scans it, it lands in your inbox first and is written to a profile only once you confirm.

Where is my data stored? Does it leave Singapore?

The backend and database run on Google Cloud in Singapore (asia-southeast1), and attachments and media sit in the same region.

The one exception is model API calls, where content may be transmitted to the provider's processing nodes in other jurisdictions. Push notifications go through Apple's APNs and contain only the alert text.

What if Ahaya extracts something wrong?

When she's sure, she files things for you; when she isn't, she stops and asks. Either way you can trace it back to the original, and undo it if it's wrong.

What's already written can still be fixed: each edit keeps a version snapshot, sensitive changes enter the audit trail, and most can be rolled back. The original record is append-only, so she cannot alter what you actually said.

Could she miss something important?

Yes. That's exactly why every conclusion in the product links back to the original — you can always check what she read and what she skipped.

Compliance dates, filing obligations and any commitment to a client should rest on the source documents and your own professional judgement. She organises the facts; the decision is yours.

Which devices are supported? Is there a Windows or Android version?

Ahaya comes as a Mac app and an iPhone app, built on the same core so they behave the same. There's no web version, and no plans for Windows or Android at present.

Can I connect our own mailboxes and cloud drives?

Yes — Google Drive, Gmail, Outlook (including work Microsoft 365), Lark (Larksuite / Feishu) mail, and standard IMAP mailboxes including iCloud. Once bound, new content flows into the space automatically.

You can revoke a binding in the app at any time. We stop pulling new content; records already ingested remain yours to manage.

How do I get access?

We're in limited release. Email [email protected] telling us whether you're a company, a team, a family or just yourself, roughly how many people would use it, how you keep track of this today, and the problem you'd most like solved first.
